Sekhmet
Introduction :
Sekhmet is one of the most important ancient Egyptian gods.
Egyptian texts
and art attest to her presence as early as the Old Kingdom period, in the third

From that time on, she is considered to be

Sekhmet is represented in Egyptian art as a lion-headed woman.
Her head was
sometimes topped with a solar disk and a cobra symbolizing the defense of the
enemies of royal power.

drinking the blood of the dead.
Finally, Ra realized that he had made a
mistake, but he could stop Sekhmet.

Sekhmet thought the beer was blood

When she woke up, she was the gentle Hathor again.
