President of the French Republic, Andorra is the highest inhabited
country in Europe.
The principality of Andorra is a particularly small enclave enclosed in
the Pyrenees mountains between Spain and France.
This domain was a unique
survivor of feudal institutions but since 1993 Andorra has been a
sovereign State.
Furthermore, the principality has become a member of the
Council of Europe.
The bulk of its income is from tourists attracted by duty free shopping
with an average 10 million visitors per year.
