« MYTHS AND HEROES I'm going to talk you about the notion Myth and heros.

I would like to define the notion.

Firstly a myth can be defined as a story about gods or heros, it can be a popular belief or a tradition or a false notion.

A hero can be a mythilogical figure, a person where is admired for his or her achievements. But how can an ordinary person make the world a better place? We studied a mural of Usain Bolt, a Jamaican sprinter made by James Cochran also know as Jimmy C in 2012.

He won many gold medals in the Beijing, London and Rio Olympic games in 2008, 2012 and 2016.

He is a record breaker because the fastest sprinter in the world.

It's a close up shot of his face surrounded couloured lines.

He looks like a saint with his aura.

He's looking straight as us.

The street artist seems to pay tribute and worship him.

He has become one of the best known men in the world.

His career has made him famous and loved by all. Then we saw the story of Malala Yousafzai.

This girl is a Pakistani school pupil and education activist from the town of Mingora in the Swat District of Pakistan's north -western province.

She is known for her education and women's rights activism In the Swat Valley where the Talibans had banned girls from attendi ng school.

She fights for their right to get the basic education against the Taliban's domination.

She started writing a blog in 2009 under a pseudonym for the BBC detailing her life under the Taliban rule.

Two year later, a documentary was filmed about he r life.

She gave interviews.

In 2012, she was shot in the head by armed Talibans on her way to home from school.

She was sent to Birmingham, U.K for intensive rehabilitation.

The assasination attempt spark a national and international support for Malala.

S he was nominated for the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize.

In July 2013, she spoke at the UN to call for national access to education and she opened the library of Birmingham on September 3, 2013. Paralympic games bring together athletes from all countries with p hysical or visual disabilities (amputees, blind, wheelchair users, and so on).

They offer almost nineteen differents sports such as swimming, archery, judo, horse riding.

They marked a progress of the society to accepted the participation and the diffusion of these very talented sportsmen despite their handicaps.

Indeed this competition exists only for fifty eight years while the Olympic Games exist since eigtheen ninety six which shows an open mind since not so long ago.

Take for example Ali Jawad.

At just twenty nine years old, he won two gold medals, a silver medal and a medal of Bronze.

He represents Great Britain in the "powerlifting" category.

Despite his disability, he worked hard with intensive training to make his dream come true.

He is an example t hat everyone can do it, that you have to be brave and not to give up.

Un heros est tout d'abord une personne ordinaire. A hero is first and foremost an ordinary person. Indeed it is the actions they can perform that make them become "Heros" and that ma kes the world better.

They fight to be heard or to change things.

These heroes make forget the daily problems by their actions, their claims and so one.. »
