In Arthur Miller's play “All my sons, Joe Keller is a hero in his family and in the neighborhood even if he
did some very things.
Joe is respected by his family because he is the man who let them have a very good and wealthy life.
This is
because Joe's company succeeded, and his family respect him for that.
Firstly because Joe has a big lack of
education because he comes from a poor world : “it is with the terrible concentration of the uneducated
man.
So this upward mobility was for him harder than everyone else.
Secondly, because he represents for
them a very high level of tenacity against everything could happen in life, he tries on every to get back on his
feet after a problem.
It's why his wife kate calls him “KATE : Bull  because he's strong as this animal.
To
be brief, Joe is a hero because his first worry is his family, like every hero he wants to protect those who loves.
Joe's neighborhood respect him, some of them admires him almost.
For example Berth, Â he is a
neighborhood kid who comes around Joe Keller, the kid underlines the image of him as a good father.
Bert

“KELLER : Bert on my word of honour there's a jail.
It's why Joe is a hero for him because he should
catch every robbers to put them in jail.
Berth isn't the only one in this case : “KELLER : when I got home.
