« THE PLOT The famous Belgian private detective Hercule Poirot investigates the murder of the young and beautiful Linnet Ridgeway, perpetrated on a cruise boat traveling on the Nile.

The woman had fallen in love with Simon Doyle, the boyfriend of her best friend, Jacqueline de Bellefort, and married him.

It will be a big deception.

At the beginning of the film, you see a young Poirot with a big fat bloody cut on his face.

This is presented as the reason why he has a big mustache.

He doesn't need a reason for a big mustache! Just let him have a big mustache.

Then, a bit later, there's a weird sexy dance that I felt was too over the top.

They also talk too much about sex in a strange, weird, way.

The dead body of a murder victim is found in the waterwheel of a boat.

I found that too scary.

Then, of course, there is a lot of gun violence.

In the book Death on the Nile, there's just a little bit of violence, but in the movie, there's so much violence.

That film was so bad.

The only things they did right in the movie was that they brought back Bouc from the Orient Express, and there were two other very sympathetic characters.. »
